Virtual punch: configuration and troubleshooting

It is possible to configure a computer or tablet to act as a punch for the Emprez service. These virtual punches can be installed on any device with Chrome browser installed.
WARNING :
Although this way of using the service is possible, please note that if the method mentioned below does not work, the Emprez technical support team will not be able to assist you in this process. Emprez only provides support for punching machines installed by members of its team and disclaims all liability for any inappropriate use of the service.
Here are the steps to follow to access a virtual Emprez punch on your computer:
  1. Make sure that the Chrome browser is installed on the computer,
  2. In the address bar of the browser copy/paste this: https://www.horarius.net/Horarius-Punch-WEB
  3. In the "ID" text field, please enter the code which will be given to you by one of our agents.
  4. This will allow your employees to punch like on a time clock from your browser.
To know:
  1. A fixed connection to the designated machine should be preferred for efficiency and reliability
  2. The link to the punch service will not work if no internet connection is discovered
  3. If your punch loses the internet connection, it keeps the information (times & photos, if applicable) in its internal memory. All the information entered is automatically sent to your Emprez account once the connection is reestablished.
Frequently encountered problems with this type of configuration:

  1. No punch is sent to my Emprez account
Someone may have entered the wrong punch ID.
Try to clear your browser cache and redo steps 1 to 3 above.
Refer to the Chrome browser documentation to understand how to clear the cache.

  1. Several punches are sent late to my Emprez account
Your punch account was not configured for use on a browser.
