Management of bonuses / commissions
Emprez offers the possibility of managing the occasional earnings that you grant to the employee. The value of bonuses must be entered into the employee file manually, i.e. the calculation does not depend on Emprez but on an external system. You can add these amounts per employee or in batches.
Here are the most common situations in which you could opt for bonuses instead of premiums:
- Add a commission calculated elsewhere, but transferable to pay with a specific earning code
- Occasional premium, such as uniform premium
- Employee expense reimbursement
Create or modify a bonus
When you create a bonus, it is available to all employees of all your companies, even if you manage several.
To create bonuses:
- Click on Parameters ,
- Choose Bonus type management,
- Click on to add,
- To modify an existing bonus, click on ,
- Fill the boxes in red:
- Label: Name of the bonus will appear in the export code
- Payroll code: bonus gain/export code, which comes from your pay system
- Must be included in the calculation of stat. Holidays: check if the bonus amount should be taken into account when calculating the 1/20 of the last four weeks
- Must be included to calculate vacations: check if you manage the holidays exclusively in Emprez, i.e. it is Emprez which calculates the vacation pay for your employees and not your pay system
- Click on Save.
Add a bonus to the employee's file
Add individually
- Go to the Employee file,
- Click on Bonuses, at the bottom in the gray buttons,
- Go to the right pay period,
- Click on Add +, bottom right,
- Fill in the boxes in red,
- Click Save.
The bonus date is only useful for determining in which pay period this amount should be counted. Instead of entering them on several bonus lines of the same kind for the same period, add everything up to make one line.
If your bonus does not yet exist, you can click Add more bonus type to create it.
