Web Service Activation for your company - EmployeurD or Nethris
Make sure you have the correct role name in the EmployeurD or Nethris application to be able to perform the following steps. If you are not in the right role, please contact your payroll or your application manager.
If you do not have the right role, the application will tell you in Step 1.
1. Activate the API connector on EmployeurD or Nethris
Access: Setup > Enterprise > Setup > Enterprise Options
- Under Application programming interface (API), check Enable API connector.
- Only the application manager can activate the API and create service users associated with external applications.
- If you don't see the menu, you are not the application manager. Please contact your payroll system to find out who can make the changes.
- If your company uses a custom API connector (in-house type), please refer to the "API - Data Access" guide available in the Reference Documents section of the Documentation page. You will need to contact our Customer Service Center to obtain your API ID.
- Click Save.
- Click the Add User hyperlink displayed in the message. You will be automatically redirected to this function to create your service user to which you can associate the desired application.
2. Create an API user linked to your company on EmployeurD or Nethris
Access: User management > Add user
- Under Identification, select the Type of use "Services user".
- Enter the desired User Code.
- The user code must contain between 6 and 10 alphanumeric characters. We suggest to put "EMPREZ"
- Select the Application associated with the user: Emprez
- Select the “Active” Status.
- Under Communication Preferences, select the communication language: English
- Click Next.
- Check the companies and levels of the administrative structure to which the user will have access. To give access to all companies and/or to the whole structure, check the box Access to all companies and/or the box Access to the whole structure.
- Click Next
- Copy the Password to send it to us in the next step,
- Click Finish to complete the creation process.
Gather this information in a ticket to associate it with your Emprez account.
- Your Nethris or EmployeurD customer number
- API user code
- Company code (series of 7 digits)
- Web service password (no. 9 from the previous step)
If you have several companies under the same customer number, you must make sure that these steps are done for each company, then specify in the ticket the name and the corresponding company code.
If you experience complications, please contact your payroll or your application manager.
