Description of roles and access of the Manager

What he can do:

  1. Add and modify schedules
  2. Plan holidays and vacations
  3. Add and approve timesheets 
  4. Modify employees' availability
  5. Change group passwords 
  6. Save and print the necessary reports to the payroll manager for verification purposes
What he can't do:
  1. See salaries and other financial information
  2. Add a new employee
  3. Change the position of existing employees
  4. Modify the roles of other users, including their own
  5. Find another manager
  6. Send a message to another manager
    1. Via the manager portal: he only sees the Admin, without the other Managers
    2. Via the employee portal: he only sees the employees, without the other Managers or the Admins
    3. Via the mobile application: He sees the employees, the other Managers and the Admins

Manager

  1. Can perform a specific employee search
  2. Can perform the actions listed above

Limited Manager 

  1. Cannot perform a specific search
  2. Cannot make changes (does not have a Save Button)

Setting up your account

An Administrator must create and configure your account as required
  1. Give you the Manager role,
  2. You assign the necessary rights: assign the departments for which you must have rights.
If you have changes to make, you must contact an Administrator:
  1. You are missing a department for schedule planning and/or timesheets: Check access rights
  2. You are missing an employee in your department: Add the position to the employee
  3. The employee does not appear in the correct department: Add the correct position to the employee
  4. Your access is disabled or no longer functional: Reactivate an account

Manager access to the mobile application

The manager can download the mobile application and use their accesses to:
  1. Display the schedules of employees in its departments: one by one or by day
  2. View employee requests: in the Messages section, by category

The recipients of the different portals are different from each other:
On the employee portal, he sees only the Admin, without the other Managers.
On the management portal, he only sees the employees, without the other managers or admins.
On the mobile app, he sees employees, other managers, and admins.

Changes my access

For security reasons, the Emprez team reserves the right not to make changes to accounts of the Manager type without the authorization of its Administrator. The latter can make any necessary changes to your account.
