04/22/24: Managing the increase of the minimum wage with Emprez
Starting April 1, 2024, the minimum wage increases in five Canadian provinces and territories.
As of May 1, 2024, the minimum wage increases in Quebec. To find out more, click here.
In order to perform updates in Emprez, here are the different solutions available to you:
If you use Emprez with EmployeurD or Nethris:
Add the wage change to the employee's payroll file. To do this, see our article
Payroll information retrieval and employee update.
It is very important to make an act of salary adjustment AND NOT to modify the salary when hiring.
By changing the salary on hire, the update of the salary data in Emprez will not be done!
If you are not related to EmployerD or Nethris, make a batch salary adjustment for the affected employees:
- Click on Employees,
- Choose Wadge Ajustments (batch),
- Choose the search method you want to use: By company, OR By department, OR By name, First name.
- You can also filter your selection by Wage greater than / less than a value,
- Select the Adjustment Date,
- Under Wage adjustment enter the amou,
- Click on Search,
- Check the employees concerned or use to Select all,
- Click on Save.
