Segments or Position number

Segments or Position number

The segments are used to have more detailed categories than the usual structures.
Each segment consists of 5 alphanumeric characters, each of which will have its own job number. Therefore, you can have up to 6 subcategories with a 30-digit code for an extension.
Either you use the segments or you use the usual structure codes. For the same business, you cannot use both.
DO NOT use segments as project managers. It is strongly discouraged to use it this way since the employee will have as many positions as projects in the long run. You cannot delete a position in Emprez. Please contact your payroll department for more information or to find an alternative.
