Configuration of the export codes of positions for payroll

The position export code is used to notify your payroll service that your employee must, for example, be paid 3 hours at the cashier station rather than that of the clerk.
This code links the time worked to a scheduled position in Emprez with the corresponding compensation code in your payroll department.

Why configure employee position export codes

  1. Most payroll services require this in order to import your Emprez data.
  2. This generates more detailed cost reports in Emprez and your payroll department.

How to configure position export codes

Each position assigned to an employee includes an export section. This section is in turn divided into four fields:
  • Division
  • Service
  • Department
  • Sub-department
This separation presents you with the level of depth with which you can configure Emprez with your payroll service.
The export fields that you must complete in Emprez vary greatly depending on the payroll service used and the company that uses it.
