"Chat" messaging: Conversation manager

Centralize your business communications with Emprez instant messaging. Chat in groups or privately with your employees in a professional atmosphere conducive to discussion. You will be notified by a notification when a new discussion is created or when a response is received. The "Chat" Messaging function comes in addition to the "Formal" Messaging, the latter being more suitable for official requests (days of leave, replacement of shifts ...)

To take advantage of this option, please contact Emprez customer service, who will be happy to add it to you.
Please note that this option is chargeable, it will cost you $ 0.25 / employee per month.
Once the option is activated by our services, you will see the  icon appear in your main menu.
Public conversation: Instant chat with the whole department
  1. Starting a public chat can only be done by a manager
  2. Will be visible, only people who use the Emprez mobile application
Private conversation: Instant chat between 2 or more people from the same department
  1. Create a private conversation with the person of your choice
  2. Create a private conversation with several people (you + 2 other people minimum)

Create a Public Conversation

  1. To access the Chat Manager, in the main menu click on ,
  2. Simultaneously click on the Shift key on your keyboard and one of the two icons:   ou 
  3. Give the public conversation a name, then click Save.
  4. Type your message to start the conversation with your team!
People in the service will receive a notification on the Emprez application to let them know that they have received a new message. From the moment they have viewed your message, they will be part of the conversation.
Each new employee with the Emprez app will be able to join the public conversation in the same way.
  1. Delete this ChatRoom: You can delete the conversation by clicking on .
  2. Leave this ChatRoom: You can leave the conversation, you will no longer receive the response notifications from the participants by clicking on .

Create a Private Conversation with one person

  1. To access the Conversation Manager, in the main menu click ,
  2. Click on ,
  3. Select the Service, Department where the person with whom you wish to communicate works,
  4. You can refine your search by selecting an Employee Group from the drop-down menu,
  5. Under Recipients, in the drop-down menu choose the person,
  6. Click on Save.

  2. Leave this ChatRoom: You can leave the conversation, you will no longer receive the response notifications from the participants by clicking on .

Create a Private Conversation with Multiple People

  1. To access the Conversation Manager, in the main menu click ,
  2. Click on ,
  3. Select the Service, Department where the person with whom you wish to communicate works,
  4. You can refine your search by selecting an Employee Group from the drop-down menu,
  5. Under Recipients, in the drop-down menu choose the person,
  6. Click on Save.

Emprez mobile application

Public conversation

You cannot create a public conversation from the mobile app, but you can reply to an existing conversation.
When you receive a new message, the app will issue a notification to notify you.
To access the message, follow the steps below:
  1. From the main menu of the application, click on 'Chat' messaging,
  2. A public conversation will be symbolized by , click on the conversation to view the discussion,
  3. Type your message in the bottom box, then click .

Private conversation

Follow the steps below to create private conversations with at least 1 interlocutor:
  1. From the main menu of the application, click on 'Chat' messaging,
  2. Click on  to create a private conversation,
  3. Select the participants by clicking on their names (you can select a single person if necessary),
  4. At the bottom of the window, type the name of the conversation at the bottom and click on  to start the discussion,
  5. Type your message in the bottom box, then click on .

A public conversation will be symbolized by .

  1. When you have an unread message, you will receive a notification and a badge will appear with the number of missed messages.
    1. If you want to see the participants of the discussion click on 
    2. If you want to add participants to the discussion click on , then on Add participants,
