Change of assignment of a time sheet

Change of assignment of a time sheet

Why?

Your employee may have worked in a different position than the one scheduled, so you want to regularize the situation to assign the correct position to the timesheet.
Only manager and administrator users are able to modify employee timesheets.

When?

The change of assignment of a timesheet position is done before validation.

How?

Any modification of an employee's working time must be done through timesheets. Each timesheet is divided into three sections. Each plays a role in how your employee's time is calculated.
  1. In the top menu, click Timesheets,
  2. Click on   (at the end of the line of timetable concerned) to modify,
  3. Change the department in the Unit section as well as the Position
  4. Click Save.

Unit

Allows you to change the department in which the employee worked. Changing the department affects the display of positions that you can select for your employee's timesheet.
If no schedule has been scheduled for an employee, the service will associate the Unit and the default Position that had been assigned to the employee.

Choose Position

Allows you to change the position to which your employee's punches will be assigned.
The employee's position is always dependent on the unit selected. Attempt to change your employee's unit if the position you want to select is not in the position section.

Type

Determine the type of timesheet that will be used to export your employee's payroll. If a schedule has been assigned you your employee, this section will display the type of schedule that you assigned to them. In some cases, you will need to change the original type of shift. The letter in the detail section of your timesheet will display a different code depending on the type of timesheet selected.
